I can't believe there are no postings about the Olympics.
Is no one else following them?
(Or is there a thread I can't find?)

When you have no tv it's hard to keep up with what's going on in the world lol.
I only just realised a few days ago the olympics were on! So it's difficult to make time to watch it online. Hopefully i'll get a chance to find some of the figure skating...

What are you watching?

Tha's such a bummer :(

I gues I'm pretty lucky since I live in Canada we have a whole bunch of networks broadcasting the Olympics and it's pretty much all streamed live on the internet as well.
I've mostly watching the figure skating/dancing, ice hockey, and snowboarding, but I've watched a bunch of other events when nothing else was on and I was procrastinating.
:p

I watched curling and speed skating but I don't really follow 'em, sorry :(

HOWEVER, I was so mad that I don't get the channel for the X-games.. I do love and watch those!

today is curling is cool day, according to my english teacher. WHICH IS NOT TRUE. curling is a skill, not a sport.

@ Paige - That's awesome! Did your town have a big celebration?

@ Val & Raven - I don't know I think if you're not going to consider curling a sport there are a lot of other "sports" that can't be considered just that either.

@ Hayley - I wish I got to go too! One of my friends is there as is another girl who's in some of my classes and I'm so jealous.

I'm exciteddd, the women's hockey gold medal game is tonight and it's Canada vs. the US so it should be a really good game.

His family did and our church did. His sister is one of my 'ex-thing's' girlfriend. So no way did I go to the church one, and I obviously wasn't invited to the family one.

really? I actually find them a lot more interesting than the Olympics in the summer... (LONDON!! 2012 woooop) in the normal olympics i only like artistic and rhythmic gymnastics...

Probably because i love skating and skiing :)

Really Abigail? I find the Winter Games so much more interesting than the Summer Games! Summer Games I watch the Jumper events for horseback riding and that's all I really follow.
I'm so sad that they're over now :(  They were awesome this year, Canada's athletes did a fantastic job.  ♥
