It's being really hard to find a job here for the summer right now... so i came across this today...
Does anyone know anything about it?
Or CCUSA or BUNAC??

I'm thinking the semester abroad may be more effort than it's worth... with housing here and everything.
Thanks.

I don't know about those, but I have friends who go to a YMCA camp that has counselors from England. I'm not sure how they get the job or whatever, but you could check it out.
The specific camp is called camp michikamau, and you can search it on google. But i'm sure many other camps also allow abroad counserlors!

they'd probably appreciate it, if you just went through some training.

sorry I'm confused - are you talking about getting training before camp or a semester abroad (where i'd be at an american uni doing the same course as here)

Anyway i was up till 3 last night (watching Glee) and researching this.

I found out that BUNAC (British Universities North America Club) is cheaper than Camp America and also you get more at the end.

AND you can either do summer camp or Work America - where they help you get a visa and find you a job to work over there all summer :D
