k, so for one of my winterim classes all we do is sit and read and things. the goal is to read 3 books but i know i can beat that... i just want to read 5000 pages, so uhm, some help would be nice? :)
it'd be great if some of you gave me some of your favorite authors/ novels you read.
preferably romantic with a nice plotline, ya know?
All of John Green's books. they had me legit LOL-ing An Abundance of Katherines (his bff in this book is muslim and hilar) Paper Towns Looking for Alaska i also recommend books by Sara Dessen and a book called Brighton Beach Memoirs (it made me LOL)

Nick Hornby books are easy, and sometimes about relationships... like High Fidelity. He also has a new one that just came out called Juliet, Naked. Perks of Being a Wallflower is AWESOME but not so much romantic (by Stephen......... forget his last name). That's all I can think of right now... good luck!
I read these ones about Vampires by PC and Kristen Cast - House of Night series (i think they're called... cant remember first one is called Chosen) They're not great but the story like is quite addictive. (and there is romance in there too!) Straight away though i could tell they'd been written by a younger person - turns out PC (dunno her real name) writes them then Kristen her daughter in college goes through and changes things.
Jodi Picoult has some good ones too. Orrrr hmmm i dunno i dont get much time to read anymore. Before I die by Jenny Downham or I heart New York by Lindsay Kelk.
I've only read the notebook by nicolas sparks and i cant remember if i read it or not... but The lucky one... and i dunno, i just never got into them and his writing.
But if channing tatum will be in the movie.. i'll deff be watching that! haha
Agreed, ^^^ Anything by Mitch Albom, or Sarah Dessen. The Host by Stephenie Meyers, better than twilight in my opinion(it's way long!) I just read these awesome books: Generation Dead by Daniel Waters, and an even better one called Bad Girls Don't Die by Katie Alender. It was sososo good. A little spooky, with good romance, and definitely a page turner.
if you're looking for something ambitious, i'm currently reading atlas shrugged by ayn rand. it's like 1000 pages long and definitely not an easy read, but i'm finding it to be quite interesting.
also, if you haven't read gone with the wind, you really should! that's another long one, though.
dreams from my father by barack obama was really interesting as well, and that was a quicker read.
so i just read the choice by nicholas sparks and don't judge a girl by her cover by ally carter which is the third book in her series of this spy school, pretty good.
ohmygod nicholas sparks, new favorite author. he has a way with words :)
