I did, and I hate when people say this but I actually can relate to your situation a lot. Remember Tucker? Exactly. I'm sorry Starry, he sounds like a total shiitface.
i wish so much that i could just be perfect. i know people break out with cheesy things like not being perfect is okay and **** like that. and having flaws is great. but i want to be perfect. perfect enough for my mom, my dad, my brothers, my friends... maybe my life would be so much happier/ easier if it was =/ maybe i'd have someone who actually liked me and didn't treat me like ****. maybe i'd have friends who would care that i wasn't talking to them that day and would come up to me and say 'what's wrong?' that some of them wouldn't stab me in the ****ing back and then pretend it never happened. most of all i wish i didnt come from a background that everyone inflicts upon with racism and rude remarks.
1. I'm Muslim
2. I'm Afghan (from afghanistan)
those two combinations don't do you any good in America.
Hey Stori, i can definitely relate on the last part, especially after i started wearing a scarf all the time. I got one racist comment at the mall, but most people are chill where i am since there's so many muslims around here. I'm so sorry that it's harder for you :/
And i can also relate on wanting to be perfect, but that's only because i'm a typical middle child.

but life isn't, unfortunately. i wish that it was every day. =/ i feel really bad that you have to go through all that racism. my friend the other day (she's muslim) was telling me how everyone gives her dirty looks in the airport.
your friend wears a hijab right? yeah it's worse for her because they KNOW she's muslim so she's an easy target. people don't know I am unless they see me wearing a necklace referring to it or if i openly say it. and because they dont know some people think its okay to bash them =/ if anyone ever starts to say shiit while i'n there like i know 100% i'll stand up for us. it just annoys me how like, i can't target everyone who does crazy stuff like that. and then some people arent like me and they cant stand up for themselves. it's just annoying how the world has such a complete perspective on muslims AND afghans. and i'm both and i dont do any of the shiit they classify us of doing.

hah you're lucky... you live in a liberal state. I, however, have to live with country rednecks everyday of a republican background. thank god i'm not in that area but i know some people who come from backgrounds like that. i seriously think my life is harder than like 80 % of american teenagers. and i hate how people always assume it's like.. a cry for attention when you say your life is hard. it's like YOU wouldn't know mofo.
yeah she does wear one so racism happens to her a lot. I fortunately, don't really have to deal with that except I get called a gypsy some times lol. I just hate how people have such misconceptions of other races, etc. People are so ignorant sometimes,
it's funny though cause i know more politics than 75 % of this country who raves against us. it's like do you know what YOUR country that one year, hmmmm?
taking american government was the greatest decision i have ever made.
hah well for you it might be different. my teacher is amazing. like in my life if i ever look back and think who had the greatest impact as a teacher, it'd be him. like he teaches us about american government but with him it runs sooo closely to current events we usually end up in some sort of debate or like argument and it's amazing, i love that class. it's so free will. he's teaching psychology next semester too :)
i'm sorry starrr. i dont know what you mean, but i understand. like since 9/11, whenever a muslim goes on an airplane they're probably watched closer then any one else on the plane. its not right or fair.
