on how to get new members. While we have gotten a few, and activity on the site has been really good, I was wondering what thoughts you girls have on attaining even more new members without being annoying spammers. :)
and why don't we change our banner to say CTOW only, that way people won't be put off by the name, and if they ask what it means we'll tell him... but that'd be after they join ;)
It depends on how many views there are per month, but it can be as low as $8 a month. And I agree about the extra forums, but it all depends if it's a good idea.
i feel like the decision not to emphasize the whole 'clique' aspect of the site anymore was a good choice. but i don't really know what else we could do, i'd say we could promote it via facebook but one of the things i've always liked about this place is the fact that no one from my 'real life' is around. sooo i don't know. but if i think of anything i'll tell you for sure.
Same, like I definitely wouldn't post like my blog stuff if I knew people on here outside of the internet. And I get what you are saying star about the noob thing, I'll keep an eye out for that.
i would probably delete my whole blog and almost all my posts if someone that i know ended up on here haha and we don't really need chat, when we have whiteboards. it would be nice, but it's pointless to pay money for it. the hyperlinking seems good. i was thinking about creating an xanga for the site, and joining a bunch of blogrings. that might draw in a few people.
