I'm really unhappy right now with how i look weight wise... I know i'm not fat - I'm still below the middle of an average weight for my height but i've never ever in my life till now been this size and it's really getting me down how i cant fit into all my clothes and it's almost summer...

I gained like a couple of lbs over summer then about 10lbs at uni!!!
Lack of exercise and rubbish eating is to blame but i dont know what else i can do...
Especially around my middle, its horrible.

So what i'm asking is any tips on how you can keep eating healthily and small exercises i can do in a small room at all..
I walk a lot and dace twice a week ( a lot less hardcore than i used to ) and never make it to the gym because now i feel so unfit i'm intimidated with the really fit people there...
it's like a downward spiral really.
HELP

okay so heres what i did when i was unhappy with myself:

1. i did cardio like the ones you pop into a DVD player and you follow them do the work outs (mine was lean burn or something like that)

2. at nights i geared up and went running for like 30 minutes around my neighborhood and after 3 days i was losing inches

3. track started so that meant my weights and running more often,

if you're intimidated by going to the gym then go when no one else is there. for example here the rush hour is from 3-5 but then after that it's cleared. i prefer going at night (to the gym or even running outside) because like you, in a way, i don't like people watching me work out

Also, depending on your money/schedule you could dance more often since you do love to do that

i'm in the same situation as you... like, precisely. if you find a solution, pleaseee let me know!

but so far, i've started doing weights while watching tv, and when it gets warmer, i think i'm going to suck it up and start running.
