snow day anyone?

Was wondering if anyone else was having snow days? Or are the states too sensible to cancel things like school due to snow...
unlike here.
School is cancelled (not that that means anything to me anymore) and there is NO snow here at all... and the smallest amount in the south ... ridiculous.

Everythings come to a halt...
There is loads on the mainland though, im so excited to get back to uni looks like there is loads of snow!! Which is pretty rare in the south :D

global warming causes major climate changes, high and low.  people like assume that 'global warming' means that everything will be hotter, which is misleading.  the greenhouse gases are causing the earth's temp to go up, and that causes abnormally high temps, but abnormally low temps as well.

well yeah i know, but for the past for years they've been using examples that our winters aren't as cold blah blah blah and that the earth is heating up and all these ice caps are melting and so now that we've had the coldest winter in yeaarss some people are really skeptical.

i don't ski or do any winter outdoor sports, so snowdays are the only reason why i like snow.
snow is pretty when its first fallen and sparkly, but after like 3 days, it gets icy and muddy and nasty.
i detest the cold weather; i have no idea why i live where i live...

we haven't had any snowdays yet. except it was really bad one morning and my friends car spun out on the hill leading to my school. so we shouldn't have had school but the superintendent has a pole up his a;ss.

we haven't had a single snow day this year and only one delay. the superintendent doesn't live in town, so he doesn't call anything. there was one day that it was snowing so bad that three people i know got into wrecks on the way to school, but we didn't even get a delay.

i wish we got snow days and stuff for like four inches of snow. we seriously have to get multiple feet of snow or it's got to be like a whiteout before they'll cancel. evidently we upstate new york hicks are secretly badasses when it comes to weather...

schools were cancelled again today - no snow again... apparently there was a little (not even half an inch) in the south but the main reason is they dont want to grit/salt the roads as they think it'll run into the water..... not that they care they're pumping sewage into our water!!! damn government.

In Houston friggenTexas where it's basically hot and humid all year long, we had snow in early December and it's supposed to be freezing this week, so we got free dress today and we get it tomorrow too. I like it. :)

No snow days here in retarded FL.
Although it's the record coldest temp here ever, getting down to the like 20s or 30s. Everyone is freaking out like there's gonna be a blizzard or something.
Ahahaha, whimps.
