I'm sure everyone knows their basic rules; talking out of character use [] or (), don't ever power play, and this WILL hopefully stay active and on the itinerary with Britt and I's post so make sure you stay on the plan.
All characters who have not been applied for can be applied for on a first come first serve basis. However, to assure the role player is beneficial, the applier MUST have a full detailed application with: Name, Age, Background, Personality, Looks, & Writing Sample.
Thanks so much for applying Mission Paradise Cruise Lines, we hope you enjoy your trip.
Olivia already had both of her suitcases packed with the wardrobe, toiletries, books, and everything else she needed for almost a week now. She could not wait to leave on her adventure starting off her new life as an adult. Right now, she was sitting in the back of her parent's small sports car on her way to the docks. In her stomach was a mix of emotions: excitement, happiness, worry. But most of all? Anxious. For her new life, (hopefully) new relationships, and most of all- her new self. Finally, Mr. and Mrs. Sanford drove into the parking lot in front of a huge, brightly lit and welcoming-ly painted ship. Olivia was stunned- she knew she should have been expecting this, but she was still overcome with shock. After many I-love-yous and miss-you-lots, Olivia carried her suitcases over the ramp and onto the boat where a uniformed man took the luggage out of her hands and showed her to her room. The room was large, beautiful, and regal-looking. Olivia thanked the man, closed the door behind him and flopped on the bed, closing her eyes and melting in the final relaxation of the moment.

Tyler Arnott pulled his aviators over his eyes as the taxi pulled into the harbor. After he paid the driver and took his bags out of the trunk, he let out a yawn. He was still hungover from last night, and the bright sunshine wasn't helping at all. He showed his ticket to one of the workers and was led up the elevator towards his room. This ship was huge, with almost everything in it. Tyler sighed as he opened the door to his room. This would have been a lot more fun if his friends had come with him, but at least he could make friends with almost anyone. Except biitchy girls. He hated those kind. Tyler yawned as he layed down on the itchy couch.
Sydney Hughes stared out the window as her mom pulled the BMW in front of where the ship was anchored. She stepped out of the car and grabbed her monogrammed luggage from the backseat, slamming the door behind her. Her mom rolled down the window as Sydney wheeled her suitcase toward the boat.
"Don't look so reluctant. Just enjoy it, Sydney," her mom snapped before rolling up the window and speeding away.
Sydney wasn't reluctant. She just would rather be at home partying each night away with her friends. She'd make the most of it, however. She always did. She reached her room and threw her stuff on the floor before exiting promptly. Sydney hated sitting around. She decided to go explore the ship she'd be spending a month on, and perhaps find something to eat.

Camille Howard stepped out of her dad's BMW a bit reluctant and anxious. She swiped her Ray Bans down over her eyes and pulled her thin hoodie just a little more around her body as she inspected the large ship. Wow. That was going to be what she called "home" for the next month. She sighed and looked back at her parents, quickly saying goodbye and taking holding of her luggage as she walked up the ramp at a steady.
It's all going to be fine. You're gonna find someone to chill with and it's gonna be cool. She told herself. She took in a deep breath and put a warm smile on her face as she looked at the official, checking her ticket and informing her room was floor 2 number 147 and that they would go ahead and take her luggage there. She thanked him and watched them roll away her stuff. She thought best fit to get a drink or something and walked towards the deck, hopefully to meet someone new.
Tyler yawned as he got out of his bed after his nap. He put on his Volcom swim trunks and his favorite Glamour Kills t-shirt. He grabbed his sunglasses and his wallet as he left the room. He was ready to get his mid-afternoon drank on.
Camille finally spotted the bar and started making her way towards. All of a sudden she felt a little vibration coming from her bra and quickly pulled out her Blackberry, again, courtesy of the rents, and inspected her new text message.
from; Karen: so how's the view? ;)
She grinned and started to type back a reply when someone knocked into her shoulder, causing her to drop her phone. She looked around and the guy kept walking, "Jerk" she muttered as she picked up her phone and sat herself at the bar.
"Diet Coke, please" She said, stuffing her phone back into her cleavage.
[ps, the guy who bumped into her isnt tyler]

[kay] Tyler walked up to the bar and ordered a sprite. Maybe it was a little bit early for alcohol. He was tapping his fingers on the bar when by accident he spilled his drink, sending ice cubes and soda everywhere, even onto a girl about his age standing next to him. "Sorry," he muttered, taking napking the bartender offered him.
Camille ran a hand through her hair as she felt cold liquid start to spread across her legs.
"Wow, okay." She said quickly standing up to prevent anymore damage."Second accident in ten minutes, whatta record." She laughed taking the napkin from the guy who gave spilled the drink on her.
"It's okay, I didn't like these shorts anyway," she said offering a small smile.
"Camille," She nodded at him and took the napkins, dabbing away at the liquid. Good thing they were darkwash. "A bit early for a drink isn't it?" She teased.
"It's non-alcoholic Sprite, miss nosy. My alcoholic side only comes out past 4:30 and it is two pm now." Tyler said with a laugh and smile. He hooked his sunglasses on his shirt and looked her in the eyes.
Camille grinned, showing off her pearly whites. 3 Years of braces had better paid off. She pulled Ray Bans to the top of her head and stared back at him.
"By 4:30 I don't even eat dinner, I still say you cut it early. But hey, whats to expect from us teenagers" She shrugged and took her seat again, feeling a bit short under his tall body.
"College can do that to you too. Where do you go? I'm a sophomore at JMU. Best place in the worldd." Tyler said, drumming his lanky fingers on the wooden bar. He then asked for another Sprite.
"That's good, I have a few friends that go there. Don't worry, I won't spill this one. Have faith in me," Tyler said with a laugh, referring to his drink.
Camille looked from his drink back at him and grinned,"I'll trust you for now." She nodded, and looked behind her at the deck. It looked like for the most part the ship was loaded with people and they were just about to leave. "Can't wait for this trip to start" She admitted.
"Yeah. A bunch of my friends were going to come with me so we could get away from the snow, but they ditched me. It should be fun though." Tyler said, running his fingers through his hair.
Running his hand through his black hair, Tristan Wright took a look at the giant cruise ship that stood before him. Looking back at his parents he frowned, "Honey," his mom said hugging him reading his thoughts. "you need this. Your going away to college next year and you've never been away from us." Standing back a couple of feet his dad was barking at his cell phone. "Goodbye Tris," he waved. "Don't do anything I wouldn't do," he started walking toward the black Lexus that was parked at the curb. Tristan pushed his aviators on, "Bye mom," he choked out sliding his duffel bag on his shoulder. "I'll call you whenever were on land," he said quickly. Walking up the ramp he looked back at his mother, forcing himself to take the next step away from life as he knew it.
"Lucky, I've never seen snow. I live in Miami, born and raised," Camille said, laughing softly at the thought that she hadn't ever moved from her city. She just loved it so much.
Sydney wandered down to the main deck, in search of the bar. When she spotted it across the room, her eyes lit up. She was craving a drink. As she was making her way across the room, she collided with another body, all of her belongings scattering across the floor.
"Sh;it, watch where you're going, will you?" she fumed at the person as she tried to gather her valuables.

"That's cool. So what kind of music you like? I'm wierd. I like to know the little things about people. Helps me get to know them better." Tyler asked, checking his cell phone in his pocket. No new messages.
